Owner / President
Hi, I’m Lauren, the Owner & President of Heeren Hockey Management - where my love for hockey drives everything we do. It truly is a privilege to combine my passion for the sport with my professional career. With a background in marketing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a diverse range of industry experiences, I am dedicated to fostering the growth and success of our clients, our Hockey IQ developmental programs, and our advisory services.
My commitment to hockey extends beyond the rink. I firmly believe in the power of sports to unite people and create lasting connections, both on and off the ice. Our mission at Heeren Hockey Management is to provide unparalleled support and opportunities for players to advance to the next level, while also delivering exciting entertainment and support to our local communities.
Matthew Esposito
Vice President
Matt is a dedicated hockey aficionado with deep-seated roots in the sport. Hailing from Clarence, NY, his journey in hockey began with the esteemed Wheatfield programs, followed by notable stints with the Cheektowaga Warriors and Buffalo Regals during his formative years.
Now serving as General Manager of the team, Matt leverages his extensive experience and passion for hockey to drive success. With a background in marketing from St. Bonaventure University and invaluable leadership skills honed as assistant captain of his high school and college teams, Matt is well-versed in both the strategic and operational aspects of team management.
In addition to traditional ice hockey, Matt has ventured into the realm of ball hockey, competing in leagues domestically and internationally. His unwavering dedication culminated in the honor of representing Team USA at the 2013-2015 World Ball Hockey Championships, securing a silver medal in Switzerland. Matt's diverse background in hockey equips him with a unique perspective and a comprehensive understanding of the game.
Nicholas Russo

Nick brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Director of Hockey Operations. Hailing from West Chester, PA, Nick has been a driving force in hockey for decades, with a background that spans leadership, player development, and strategic planning. His career includes significant roles such as President and Director of Hockey Operations for the Mentor Ice Breakers.
Nick's journey in hockey includes coaching and management positions at high school and collegiate levels, where he has led teams to numerous championships and accolades, including the USA Hockey High School National Championship and multiple PA Flyers Cup titles. His commitment to the sport is evident in his achievements and the respect he commands from his peers. In addition to his impressive resume, Nick's friends and colleagues always speak highly of his dedication, leadership, and ability to inspire those around him.
Nick is passionate about driving success and growth within the organization, always eager to engage in discussions about hockey and explore innovative ways to elevate the league's performance.
Andrea Garver
Business Administrator
Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Andrea has always had a love for hockey. From watching the Sabres as a baby, to playing street hockey with friends and going to all sorts of hockey games to date, her passion for hockey runs deep.
Andrea has had her hand in Accounting going all the way back to high school. She was the treasurer in clubs and has always loved working with numbers. Her enthusiasm for the sport of hockey and her strong Accounting background are the driving forces behind what she plans to bring to the table for the ELHL.
